At Teen Challenge Illinois we strive to evangelize and disciple men and women who have life-controlling problems.
The plan that we use is to teach sound biblical principles to provide a solid spiritual foundation on which to build relationships in the family, church, career field, and local community.
Teen Challenge Illinois endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. We also desire to enrich the lives of our students by providing actual work experience so they can improve their work ethic and become productive members of society.
Teen Challenge is not a traditional medical-model drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. We are a faith-based, Christ centered alternative to help men and women rebuild their lives. There is a cure for the drug epidemic plaguing our nation. We believe the cure is found only in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In my opinion, Teen Challenge is doing the best all-around job of providing the kids with something meaningful in their lives. And that's what they all need… I thank you for your continuing support for Teen Challenge. ~ Art Linkletter
Teen Challenge Illinois has a vision to open eight centers in strategic cities throughout the state of Illinois. These centers will reach out to adolescent boys and girls 13-17, adult men and women 18 and over.
Our Vision includes two women's centers and an additional phase to the Teen Challenge program. This third phase will be a re-entry house where our graduates can come back and get planted in the community as we provide them with a steady job through our business relationships in the community. This is a great opportunity for men to get back on their feet financially before they re-enter society. Guidance and accountability will help them stay the course.
Pray for us as we believe in the Vision God has given us will come to pass and change lives for the glory of God. Teen Challenge Illinois is a vessel used by God for “Rebuilding Lives for Eternity Today!”
